About James Barber

James Barber owns Triumphant Pest Control, which services the counties of: north Fulton, Forsyth, Dawson, Gwinnett, Hall, Barrow, Jackson, Oconee & Clark.  For termite protection they offer either a baiting system or a liquid treatment, and  they use a green approach for pest control.  Their pest control program can provide service every other month, quarterly or on an as needed basis.  They can treat for most pests, but specialize in treatment of Argentine ants, German roaches and carpenter bees.   Triumphant has unbeatable guarantees, service to match those guarantees and they strive to build a life long relationship with all of their customers.

When someone first mentioned attending a networking meeting to James, he was not interested because he thought it was a pyramid scheme.  Then he was invited to a BNI meeting and he immediately fell in love with it.  He submitted his application at the next meeting and has never looked back.  Joining his current chapter has been his best business decision.  Since James bought into what he was taught and excelled at it, after 5 months he was asked to be an ambassador and 3 months later asked to be a director. He is privileged to work with some really good chapters in the northeast Georgia area.

Currently, he is very active in the Gwinnett county chamber and has completed the requirements for their ambassador program.

His personal goals are: to be a true Christian; to be the best husband, dad and granddad; to be able to give more to those in need.

His professional goals are:  to have the best pest control company; to help other businesses grow; to align with great people (such as those in BNI).

James graduated from Gainesville State College in Dec of 2007 with an associates degree in science and he served a total of 10 years in the Navy.  He has been in the pest control industry for  approximately 16 years.  He loves people and enjoy not only giving quality service to his  customers, but also enjoys spending time with them.

A member of the First Pentecostal Church in Buford, GA, James has been the Southeast regional coordinator for WPF Bible Quizzing for 3 years. He has been involved in various capacities at his church, such as:  Sunday School teacher, Head Usher, In charge of the Jail ministry, Men’s Ministry director, Bible Quizzing Coach, Choir Member and Outreach Assistant.
