About Diane Michael

Diane Michael is a Certified Travel Associate with Travel Leaders.  She joined the travel industry in 1996.  She especially loves to help plan escorted tours, honeymoons and destination weddings. Her favorite places out of all the places she’s visited are Alaska and Dominica, but her all-time favorite vacation is a cruise to Canada and the New England coast.

Diane enjoys speaking to groups to educate them on traveling responsibly and preserving the world’s cultures.  She believes an educated traveler gets much more from their vacation.

Diane has specialty designations in many areas of the travel industry including being an Accredited Cruise Counselor, Luxury Travel Specialist, Destination Wedding and Honeymoon Specialist and Certified Travel Specialist.

Diane’s hobbies include (of course!) traveling, rescuing cats, reading, and mission work.

Diane joined BNI in October 2001 after the terrorist attacks on 9/11.  She believes that BNI is the reason she is still in the travel industry.  Diane’s success in BNI gave her the desire to share BNI with others.  Her goal as a director is to help members in the chapters she works with to increase their business.  BNI referrals provide 50% of Diane’s income and she wants to teach others to use the tools BNI offers to make BNI a strong marketing arm of their business.
