About Anita York

Anita York is a Director with BNI specializing in new chapter development, and is the Administrator of the Referrals4Life Visitor Follow-up and Chapter Placement Program. She has been involved with BNI for over four years.  Anita’s background in the business world has prepared her for her current role and she brings great experience to the table.

Anita is owner of Cardinal Events Company out of Bogart, GA.  Whether the event is business related, purely social, or somewhere in between, Cardinal Events will take care of all of the details.  Specializing in educational conferences and seminars, celebrations, and promotions, the ultimate goal is to plan an event that is beautiful, functional, and meets the client’s expectations.

Anita loves spending time with family.  She has two children, 4 grandchildren, and many siblings (there are about 50 all together).  She loves to sing, play the guitar, and work with young people.  She loves both the mountains and the beach and enjoys taking a little R & R from time to time.

Currently, Anita is working toward a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration through the online program at Western Governor’s University.  She has only 6 courses to complete to before meeting this goal!

Anita contributes many things to her success, but particularly feels that all of her life experiences have helped to teach her how to live  . . . to believe in the Golden Rule; to be kind to her neighbors; to work hard and play hard; and to remember that there is nothing that can happen today that she and God together cannot handle.
